Raptor® cutters have extended this performance further allowing formations thought to be undrillable with Fixed Cutter (PDC) bits to be drilled.

ReedHycalog® DuraDiamond® diamond-impregnated designs are ideal for high speed motor and turbine applications in the hardest and most abrasive formations or those formations, such as chert, that cannot be sheared by PDC cutters.

ReedHycalog® Natural Diamond bits provide an alternative solution but are generally less durable and drill with a lower ROP than DuraDiamond products.
